CHARTRIDGE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY SHOW RULES.
All classes are open to Chartridge Horticultural Members who
exhibit produce taken from the garden or allotment worked by
themselves ( excluding floral art ).
Exhibits should be staged by the members, using their own
containers before 10-45am on the day of the show. The venue
will be available for staging from 9-00am. Judging will
commence at 11-00am when all exhibitors, except committee
members and stewards must leave.
The committee reserve the right to cancel classes or
withhold prizes if the entries are not according to schedule
or in the opinion of the judges the entries are not of
sufficient merit.
An exhibitor may enter only once in any one class. Two or
more persons may not exhibit produce from the same garden in
the same class.
Reasonable care will be taken of exhibits but the committee
cannot be responsible for any loss or damage thereto.
The committee reserve the right to inspect members garden or
allotment.
Any complaints regarding exhibits should be registered with
the Show Secretary before 3-45pm on the day of the show.
Entries must not be removed before 4-30pm but should be
cleared by 5-00pm. Produce not claimed by that time will be
sold by auction.
Prize monies must be collected from the treasurer during the
afternoon of the show.
