MAY 9th 2012  - CHARTRIDGE OPEN GARDENS FOR SCANNAPEAL  ANNIVERSARY
As part of the celebrations 25 gardens and groups of gardens are to be opened to the public during the year and some of the Chartridge residents  have agreed to take part. 

All the four properties listed below are open at the same time from
10.30am to 2pm.

Entrance is  £5 per head to visit all the gardens with tea/coffee served in the Reading Room - Village Hall.

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee

There will be a special bank holiday to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in the United Kingdom (UK) on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. This event honours the 60-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II in the UK. The late May bank holiday will be moved to Monday, June 4, 2012, giving people across the UK a four-day long weekend.
There will be lots of of events happening in 2012 in and around Chesham to celebrate this.
